HM2/E-5 David Ciomperlik

Here is what David Ciomperlik wrote his Mom (JoAnn Goldstein) regarding our Foxes!
"The Foxes have been a great squadron. That is why I never flew with another. There are a bunch of good guys here and I will remember them for ever. I don't know if I have ever explained how it works for us. The whole flying thing. I am attached to the ONE MEF CASEVAC TEAM which is separate from all the squadrons. We had the option to fly with any squadron or all of them. I was attached to these guys the first time I went out. So I stayed loyal to them. Anyway I will stay in touch with alot of them. I finally had a chance to pull up the Foxy Ladies web page. All I can say is GO SPURS GO. Thank you. I had to show those pics off."

These photos are of David Ciomperlik re-enlisting in the Navy on May 21st --
his son Dustin's 9th birthday. Maybe that's why he's smiling!

One of the first things David put up over his "rack" when he got to Kuwait
was a Spurs flag!

David and his family have always been HUGE fans of the San Antonio Spurs. Once, when they were stationed in Washington, they went to a Spurs game in Portland, to find they were the only Spurs fans there! Their enthusiastic team spirit didn't go unnoticed, however. They were invited to meet and "hang out" with the Spurs after the game.

Now that the Spurs won the NBA Championship, I bet there's no happier basketball fan in the Middle East than David!
