Jared’s father, Joe Landaker, was the last to speak. As his wife Laura and son Jason looked on, Joe unfolded the story of how a hero came to be. He shared that through challenges in youth, Jared became a person of immense spirit and passion for the ones he loved and his country. His honesty, perseverance, and loyalty were key contributors to his success in the Marines. In the course of over 80 medi-vac missions, Jared personally saved 95 lives. |
